1. Remove Clutter

It’s also recommended to remove any boxes from the ground and keep closets organized. You’ll also want to place shoes at an elevated level, as scorpions tend to like hiding inside of these.
2. Plant Lavender
Lavender plants are excellent deterrents for keeping scorpions away and preventing them from coming into your home. If you don’t have the time or energy to plant, a great alternative is to combine 2 cups of apple cider vinegar and 20 drops of lavender essential oil in a spray bottle. Spray this around windows and doors as often as you find it necessary.
3. Fill Cracks
If you notice any cracks in your foundation or holes in your baseboard, have these fixed as soon as possible. Caulking will work in most situations, although you may need to call a contractor for severe damage. Take some time to do an inspection of your home, from the floors all the way to the windows and ceiling. Write down any issues you find so you can be sure every area is addressed.
4. Do a Thorough Search
Did you see something crawling out of the corner of your eye? Don’t assume you were seeing things, especially if you feel it was a scorpion. Do a full inspection of your home, including in the garage and attic, to see if you can find any creepy crawlers.
